Welcome to Modular Assembly. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and services. By using Modular Assembly, you agree to these terms.
Modular Assembly provides backend services for AI-generated applications. We add backend features to applications built using AI coding platforms like Lovable, Bolt, Replit, and others. Our services include authentication systems, user role management, database configurations, payment processing, email services, and other backend functionality.
Users are responsible for providing accurate information about their projects and backend needs. Users must have appropriate access rights to any repositories, databases, or third-party services they wish us to integrate. Users must provide necessary API keys, credentials, and permissions for the integrations to be completed successfully.
Any code created specifically for your project belongs to you. Modular Assembly retains rights to general methods, processes, and reusable components that are not specific to your implementation. We maintain a library of standard integration patterns that may be used across multiple client projects.
We offer two pricing structures:
All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, except as outlined in our refund policy for specific circumstances.
Modular Assembly provides services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our services or integrated backends beyond the fees paid for the specific integration. Our liability is limited to the direct costs of the integration service provided.
Modular Assembly guarantees that backend features will function as specified in the service agreement at the time of delivery. We provide comprehensive testing of all backend code and ensure security and scalability best practices. For the $50 per backend feature service, we provide one week of support after completion. For the unlimited plan, support is ongoing throughout the subscription period.
We maintain strict security protocols when accessing client code repositories and databases. Access is limited to what is necessary to complete the integration work. It is the client's responsibility to revoke our access once the integration is complete and the support period has ended (except for ongoing unlimited plan clients who may choose to maintain access for ongoing support). We never use client proprietary code in other projects.
Our privacy practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy document. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
Either party may terminate the service agreement with appropriate notice. For unlimited plans, termination takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Completed backend features remain functional after termination. Refunds for unused services may be provided at our discretion for exceptional circumstances.
Modular Assembly reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes to these terms via email or through our website.
